A programme of Youth Arts New Zealand · registered charitable trust

Book Aotearoa’s next-gen performers.

Rangatahi on Stage matches your event with vetted, paid 16–29 year-old artists from across the motu: live music, MCs, DJs, dancers, spoken word, kapa haka. It is the trading arm of Youth Arts New Zealand, a registered charitable trust (Charities Services CC56306): rangatahi are paid for their work, and all surplus is reinvested into our charitable programmes.

Why we built ROS

The first paid gig changes everything.

Rangatahi on Stage exists for the gap between “I make music in my bedroom” and “I’m a working artist.” That gap used to be friends-of-friends. Now it’s us.

We’re a programme of Youth Arts NZ, the charitable backbone that lets us pay fair rates, run pastoral wraparound, and stay free for the artist forever.

“A trusted bridge between clients and rangatahi talent.
